Hey everyone! I am here today with the most anticipated eyeshadow palette of the FALL by the Instagram sensation HUDA BEAUTY. According to Huda this palette is inspired by the vibrant colours of sunset in the dessert. As she lives in Dubai she is so much inspired by the views and landscapes she is surrounded by.
This palette consists of 18 eyeshadows, which consists of 8 mattes, 6 high -shine pressed pearls, 3 duo -chromes which she says are meant to be used as any eyeshadow topper, and last but not least pure glitter ( which basically is a glitter packed in a pan with some kind of adhesive).
This palette retails for $65, £56, €66

Now I have seen some reviews on YouTube of this palette and I feel like some really like it and some don’t like it at all. For me as I loved her last Rose Gold Addition palette I was so curious that what she will come up with now, it should be bigger and better. So I bought the palette, and it was Love at first sight I really loved the packaging Huda and her team did an awesome job on packaging this time. She added the mirror and overall packaging feels more sturdy. And not to forget the amazing picture of her on the palette. I wish I could buy the box which influencers got in their PR packages because I loved the idea of sand in the box which contained the palette itself. Not many people know this but HUDA mentioned in her snapchat that she wanted to put the sand in the box from where they shoot the campaign for their palette ( and I think that was so cool and such a personal touch she gave to her product).
I did finger swatches over Smash Box eyeshadow primer. Every swatch is only one swipe for metallic pressed -pearls, 2 swipes for matte eyeshadows, 1swipe for pure glitter and 2 swipes for duo-chromes.
Formula for mattes have thin texture and have very less Fall out but very pigmented. Pressed- pearls are very smooth and pigmented I used synthetic damp brush to apply them but my favourite way to apply is with my fingers. Duo- chromes are bit on sheer side but looks gorgeous on eyeshadow base. Pure glitter is very very soft so I used my finger very lightly but it didn’t stayed well on my lids on its own, I would suggest to use glitter base to apply that.
Overall I really enjoyed using this palette and I’ll keep it on my vanity to do more looks with it. Good job HUDA and team.
Thank you so much for your time. Please like and comment and also suggest what you guys want to see from me relating makeup and beauty.
Until then have a happy, healthy and safe life. Xoxo xox
